Krista has done immeasurably good work for our immigrant & refugee community members. Her focus has always been on people. I would imagine she agreed to Joy’s employment because she trusted the recommendations made by those whose focus was more on the business side of things. Maybe naive but never self serving, she is an asset to those she serves & protects.

I see immeasurable corruption involving the Executive Director. Krista and the ED are well-known friends, so it's likely she knew who was selected and chose to look the other way. Where is the ED’s conflict of interest form? How does one get away with hiring her nanny and boyfriend as the only viable bar operator? The entire Board and leadership need an overhaul. They can't just refuse to answer questions when they accept donations, grants, and taxpayer funding. It's incredibly self-serving to refuse to answer questions about all the money the public has shelled out. Where's the accountability?
